You may have already heard about Reiki without really understanding what it is.

Reiki is a gentle practice that supports relaxation, stress reduction and helps the body return to a natural state of balance.

Sessions are primarily offered remotely, allowing you to receive Reiki from the comfort of your own space, though light touch may also be used in certain contexts.

It’s about softening, regulating, and creating space for your system to rest and gently reset.

When your nervous system feels supported, your body and heart can naturally release tension and begin to restore balance.

For me, Reiki is not something abstract — it’s a quiet support I come back to in everyday life.

Who is it for

Reiki may be for you if you are currently feeling :

  • overwhelmed or emotionally drained

  • anxious or holding tension

  • disconnected from yourself

  • fatigued or overstimulated

  • in need of calm, grounding, or clarity

Reiki offers a space to slow down, release tension and gently return to your breath, your presence and a sense of inner steadiness.

What Reiki can support

Most clients describe feeling calmer, lighter, and deeply relaxed after a session.

Some people report experiencing :

  • stress and anxiety relief

  • emotional balance and grounding

  • deeper sleep and improved rest

  • reduced muscle tension

  • clarity, inner comfort, and emotional release

  • increased sense of peace and connection

Reiki does not replace medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment — it complements it gently and safely.

What to expect during a Reiki session

Each session begins with a brief check-in about how you’re feeling and what you’d like to receive support with.

Sessions are offered in 30, 60, or 90-minute formats. A 60-minute session is often recommended, as it allows time to settle in, receive the session, and gently integrate the experience.

Then you simply lie down or sit comfortably (fully clothed — or even in your pyjamas, if you like) while I guide the session.

Energy flows intuitively where it is most needed.

You may experience:

  • warmth or tingling

  • deep rest

  • emotional release

  • lightness, clarity, or comfort

  • a deep sense of calm and inner stillness

Every experience is unique — your body and energy lead the way.

Distance sessions are just as effective as in-person ones, and many people find them even deeper as they can relax in their own space.

Reiki is best understood through experience.

If you feel drawn to more calm, gentleness, or reconnection with yourself, you are warmly invited to book a Reiki session and explore it at your own pace.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Reiki religious?

No. Reiki is non-religious and universal. It supports all beliefs and backgrounds.

Do I have to “believe” in it for it to work?

No — Reiki works whether or not you have previous experience with energy practices.

What do I need for a distance session?

A quiet, comfortable space, cozy clothes (pyjamas welcome), a glass of water, and maybe a notebook to jot down impressions after.
